Sweating off or smudging away is a thing of the past

Welcome To The World Of Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure whereby hair like incision strokes are created along the eyebrow to attempt to either enhance, reshape or create a natural looking appearance on the brows. The procedure entails the use of a Nano blade, which is dipped into a pigment that has been matched to natural hair color and skin tone and is then glided along a sketched outline of the brow that has been drawn on and scrutinized beforehand. Whilst only penetrating the upper skin, the pigment is deposited simultaneously with the creation of the hair like stroke leaving a feathered outline

Microblading can help make asymmetric brows match, enhance or thicken the shape of natural brows if they are scarce, or it can create brows when there is very little or no natural brow to begin with due to conditions like alopecia or as a result of chemo therapy. The goal of Microblading is to help create the ideal brows for your face, and eliminate the need to draw in and re-apply cosmetics to shape your eyebrows thought the day.

Microblading, also advertised as 3D brows, eyebrow embroidery, feather stroke brows or micropigmentation, is the process of manually depositing color pigment beneath the first layer of the skin (the epidermis), using a very fine sterile hand tool. Through individual strokes by a small, sterile, disposable blade we produce the appearance of hair strokes. Unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing which is done by a machine, Microblading, being a manual technique, allows great precision and creates depth, resulting in a natural three dimensional effect which resembles natural eyebrow hairs. This detailed method allows the Microblading technician to create very fine strokes within your natural brow, these strokes are made to resemble your very own natural eyebrow hairs.

Through careful assessment and measuring we will create the perfect brows for your face. As Certified PhiBrow Artists we use the golden ratio to determine the correct proportions of your eyebrows, all individually fitted for your face through an Eyebrow Mapping technique. Through Eyebrow Mapping we will determine the ideal brows for you, based on your unique bone structure and the proportions of your face.

  • Those who just don’t like the ‘made-up’ look and want to look great in no time

Who is not a candidate for microblading?

If you are under a physician's care, you will need to bring in a release on their prescription note pad stating that it's safe for you to have microblading performed. Your physician will know if you will heal without complications, if you are prone to infections, or have a compromised immune system.

Is microblading the same as permanent brow tattoos?

No, it is not. The work involved with eyebrow embroidery is only performed on the epidermis layer of the skin (closer to the surface).

Does it look good?

Yes, with the microblading method, you can have natural looking brows, 24/7. Because this process is done by hand, it is easy to avoid harsh, dark, and un-natural brows. Hair strokes WILL appear crisp, darker and bold at first, but will soften up in appearance as the tissue heals. The area will shed, taking some color with it, and this is normal. The area will begin to oxidize and darken over the 1st month.
